Dawn opened Tanning Retreat in January, 2004. Dawn always wanted to open her own business and Dawn always tanned. Since there wasn't a tanning salon in Wharton , TX , she, with the support of her family, decided to open one.  

With a LOT of help from my very best friends and a lot of late nights, they refurbished the building, hence Tanning Retreat. 

Dawn prides hereself on keeping her salon clean and providing clients with the customer service she believe's they deserve. Dawn loves getting to know her customers on a first name basis and making them feel at home.
